Celebrate the legacy of Nick Gabaldón, the first documented Black surfer and the 1,000-year-old tradition of Black surfing and aquatic culture with an evening of storytelling, history, and film at the Historic Adamson House in Malibu.

This event features a panel discussion moderated by filmmaker David Mesfin, a screening of Wade in the Water: A Journey into Black Surfing and Aquatic Culture, and sweeping ocean views at sunset.
